Sabine Nallinger, Managing Director
Since September 2014 Sabine Nallinger has been the chairwoman of Foundation 2° – German Businesses for Climate Protection in Berlin.
A qualified town, transport and environment planner, Sabine Nallinger worked for 20 years on pioneering concepts for urban areas, environmentally-friendly regional, town and transport planning, as well as transportation and mobility management, within scientific and practice-oriented projects. She worked for both the state capital of Munich and for Stadtwerke München (Munich municipal utility services). There she led the research and development division and was responsible for numerous research and collaborative projects at European and national level. In addition, she managed the overall coordination of electromobility; in the context of this, one of her final projects for Stadtwerke München was a national research project commissioned by the Federal Transport Ministry.
Since 2008 she has been a town councilor for Bündnis 90/Die Grünen (the German Green Party) in Munich, dealing primarily with energy, urban development and transport policy issues. In 2014 she was a candidate for the office of mayor. She is an elected member of the steering committee of the Association of German Cities and of the transport and economic committee of the Association of Bavarian Cities and Towns.
Martin Kaul, Head of Office & Climate and Energy Policy Advisor
Martin Kaul is a political scientist.
Since 2015 Foundation 2° has been benefiting from his numerous years of experience in climate policy from the perspective of science, politics, and economics. Before he started working for Foundation 2°, he worked as a project manager at adelphi in the areas of climate, energy and resources policy as well as the green economy. One of the projects he led was for the Federal Environment Ministry; it was focused on German-Polish cooperation on climate protection, and in particular on economic opportunities. Prior to this, he worked in various capacities for Bündnis 90/Die Grünen – e.g. as a personal aide and consultant in climate policy for the climate policy speaker in the German Bundestag (parliament), as the chief clerk of the parliamentary board in the Berlin state parliament, and as the deputy chief clerk of the federal chairperson.
Martin Kaul has completed degrees in “International Relations” (BA) at TU Dresden and at Saint Petersburg State University (Russia), as well as a master’s in “Peace and Conflict Research” at the University of Sussex (England).

Sarah Florence Gaebler is a certified translator.
Since mid-2020 Sarah Florence has been Sabine Nallinger’s personal referent and assistant her and the office in questions of scheduling, organization and specific content. After working in the Franco-German education sector and in the diplomatic arena as press attaché of a North African embassy, Sarah Florence Gaebler worked for seven years as a consultant for wind energy at the Franco-German Office for the Transformation of Energy Systems (DFBEW). At the interface between politics and business, she has passionately committed herself to the energy turnaround. After a stopover in consulting globally active companies in the field of personnel development, she joined the 2° Foundation for Climate Protection. Sarah Florence Gaebler studied translation at the Humboldt University of Berlin, the Université de Genève and the Universidad de Granada.
Levke Albertsen, Junior Advisor
Levke Albertsen is an environmental scientist.
She joined the Foundation 2 ° as a junior advisor for “Corporate Climate Protection/Climate Policy” in November 2020. She holds a Masters degree in “Environmental Management and Policy” from the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics at Lund University in Sweden. Prior, she studied Environmental Sciences and Business Psychology at Leuphana University Lüneburg with a semester abroad at the University of Edinburgh. During her studies she specifically focused on corporate environmental and sustainability management, circular economy and environmental policy. During numerous internships in very different, she was able to gain practical experience. Amongst others, she supported Bertelsmann, Hamburger Hochbahn and Volvo Trucks on key sustainability issues such as climate protection, life cycle analyses and circular business models.

Julia Eckey is a political scientist.
Since August 2020 Julia Eckey has been working for the 2° Foundation. At the political strategy consultancy Joschka Fischer & Company, she supported after clients in the fields of trade, waste disposal, circular economy and sustainability. She designed stakeholder dialogues across political fields and developed positions on changing political conditions. With her clients she developed strategies for a better and more sustainable use of resources for business partners and suppliers as well as for internal processes. These were essentially aimed at making companies more sustainable and resource-efficient in their processes in terms of a circular economy. During her studies she gained experience in Berlin’s local politics. At the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce she started in the field of urban development & environment. She was the personal assistant to the presidents and, as head of department, she was responsible for member communication & service and international affairs. She was responsible for international business delegations with political support and conferences with international partners on the topic of sustainable urban development. Julia Eckey was managing director of the Wirtschaftsjunioren Berlin.
She graduated from the Otto Suhr Institute of the FU Berlin. As a management coach and systemic organizational developer, she knows the challenges that management and operational staff face when anchoring change processes in companies.

Till Kötter is a political scientist.
Since April 2020, Till Kötter has worked as a senior advisor for European and international affairs of the Foundation 2 °. Prior to that, he spent five years advising the International, Europe and Climate Protection department of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) in changing positions. The focus of his work was on the German G7 and G20 presidency, as well as on international partnerships for the implementation of the Paris Agreement. Till Kötter previously worked in the Beijing office of the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) with a focus on German-Chinese cooperation for ambitious climate protection with provinces such as Hubei, Jiangxi, Jilin and Shanxi. Before that, he worked for the Heinrich Böll Foundation’s Washington office with stakeholders from government, business and civil society to strengthen progressive alliances for climate protection at the national and sub-national level. Till Kötter holds a Masters in International Politics from Sciences Po Paris and studied Journalism at the University of Florida. In his spare time, Till Kötter is a passionate runner.
Felix Neise, Trainee
Felix Neise is a philosopher and business economist.
Since November 2020 Felix Neise has been working as an intern at the 2° Foundation. In his Philosophy Master at the Munich Jesuit University Hfph, he intensively dealt with the topics of business ethics and leadership. In his economic studies at the Technical University of Munich, he deepened his knowledge of management, corporate social responsibility and chemistry.
Felix Neise brings experience in the fields of business development, human resources and a research project on digital innovation in German mechanical and plant engineering. He supports the 2° Foundation in a project on the topic of recycling management.

Julia Reuter is a political scientist.
Since the beginning of 2019 she has been supporting the 2° Foundation as personal assistant to Sabine Nallinger and team assistant. The topics sustainability, energy efficiency and renewable energies accompany her professionally from the very beginning. Before joining the 2° Foundation, she worked as an assistant to the management board at the German Energy Efficiency Initiative (DENEFF) and as an assistant at KE Energieeffizienz GmbH. She has a master’s degree in political science, economics and communication science.
Aline de la Sauce, Student Trainee
Aline de la Sauce is an environmental scientist.
Aline de la Sauce has been supporting the foundation since August 2019 as a student assistant in the areas of communication and events. She is studying the international Master’s degree “Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability” at the Technical University of Berlin. Within this framework, she is actively engaged in the topic of corporate climate protection. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences and Business Psychology at the Leuphana University in Lüneburg.
Aline de la Sauce brings experience from inter- and transdisciplinary research projects, the Berlin start-up scene for social innovations and the founding process of an environmental education center.
Sophia Strack, Student Trainee
Sophia Strack is an economist and prospective meteorologist.
Sophia Strack has been supporting the foundation as a student assistant since July 2020. She is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in “Atmospheric Sciences” at the Leopold Franzens University in Innsbruck. In the course of her studies she is working on dynamics in meteorology, atmospheric physics and glaciology.
Previously, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in “Sustainable Management” at the Technical University of Berlin. Her main focus was on corporate climate protection, sustainability developments and the energy industry in Norway. Sophia has experience from political work in the field of environmental and energy policy as well as project management in the cultural sector.
Sina Timmermann, Student Trainee
Sina Timmermann has been supporting the team of the Stiftung 2° since June 2020 as a student assistant in the areas of communication, events and project work.
She is studying the interdisciplinary Bachelor of Environmental Management at the Justus-Liebig-University in Gießen and examines the growing needs and challenges of a globalized world. Prior to this, Sina Timmermann was a working student at the operating company of the Frankfurt am Main airport Fraport AG. From this she brings practical experience in the field of operational project and environmental management as well as environmental communication.

Dr. Daniel Vallentin is a political scientist.
Dr. Daniel Vallentin has been a senior referent “Corporate Climate Protection/Climate Policy” in the team of the 2° Foundation since January 2019. In this function, he coordinates the “Corporate Climate Protection Act Initiative”. Prior to this, Daniel Vallentin worked for more than ten years at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy, where he was project manager and head of the Berlin office. In this role, he was involved in numerous political processes and research projects on structural change and industrial transformation. Daniel Vallentin holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the Free University of Berlin and a Master of Science in Technological and Socio-Economic Planning from Roskilde University (Denmark).
Susan Weide, Corporate Climate Protection Advisor
Susan Weide is a graduate in business management.
Since 2015 Foundation 2° has been benefiting from her numerous years of experience in business consultancy and her political work in the field of climate and energy policy and sustainable economic activity. Prior to this, Susan Weide worked as head of the division of climate policy and environmental and economic cooperation for the environment and development organization Germanwatch. As the head of the division of sustainable economic activity in the Council for Sustainable Development (Rat für Nachhaltige Entwicklung, RNE), she oversaw projects on sustainability standards in the financial market, on sustainability reporting by medium-sized businesses and DAX companies, and on the promotion of sustainable consumption. As a consultant in a DAX IT company, she advised businesses on designing business management processes and implementing software and led projects in Germany and abroad.
Susan Weide studied Corporate Sustainability Management, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Social Entrepreneurship (MBA) at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg’s Center for Sustainability Management, as well as Business Studies with a focus on “International Business” (BA) at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Mannheim.
Gregor Wöltje, Senior Consultant

Gregor Wöltje is a communications expert and management consultant.
Since 2015 he has been advising the 2° Foundation on strategic and communication issues. He has intensively accompanied the strategic reorientation of the foundation, revised the corporate identity and website, developed the 2° magazine and the concept for the annual conferences.
Gregor Wöltje completed his high school diploma in the USA, studied architecture in Berlin and Munich and then ran his own advertising agency for 15 years. During this time he was responsible for strategy and creation and developed award-winning campaigns for clients such as Deutsche Bank, e.on, Yahoo, Levi’s and MTV. Since the sale of the agency, his professional focus has been on sustainability. In recent years, he co-founded the web platform Utopia, wrote the book “GRUENSCHLAUSEXY – Wie Nachhaltigkeit unwiderstehlich wird“ and has advised entrepreneurs, board members and executives of large corporations and medium-sized companies in this regard.
He is also co-organizer and moderator of the annual TEDxMünchen Conference. Wöltje is a member of the Young Presidents‘ Organization and the Art Directors Clubs. More information is available at www.woeltje.eu.
